Hi, I'm Hayley

A fully qualified professional, extra pair of hand's! Having worked in the care and education sector for the whole of my working career I have decided to venture out and offer my services to anyone who needs it in and around my home area of Milton Damerel, Holsworthy, Devon.

I am fully insured, have a enhanced DBS & First Aid trained.

I have previously worked as a housekeeper, nanny, teacher and care provider, in private homes and estates, private schools and the public sector; including state schools and social services.

With a happy, pleasant disposition (so it has been quoted) I aim to help and make your life a little

less stressful by lending a hand wherever you may need.

Home Help & Care

Happy to help with any homecare assistance and care. Maybe you need some support whilst family are away on holiday or you've just come home from hospital and need a helping hand for a few weeks to get you back on your feet. A walk in the park with someone by your side for reassurance. Maybe you are a full time carer for a family member and you need respite, I could relieve you to a worry free period of time.
Qualified. insured with an enhanced DBS for your peace of mind. Many references from families and individuals I have previously cared for.

Housekeeping & Cleaning

From 2 hours upwards based on an hourly starting rate of £15. Any household duties or cleaning undertaken. Changing and remaking beds, laundry and ironing, general cleaning. I'm more than willing (if you live in a bungalow) to clean windows, sills and facias & guttering. Keeping pathways clear and free of autumn dedbris, removing waste to recycle.

Gardening

I can mow your lawn, trim a hedge or shrubs. Weeding. mulching and generally help you tidy up your outside space. If you require someone to work alongside you to tackle a job you've been putting off because its too big for one person give me a call.

Decorating

I'm a qualified interior designer, but offer anything from simply repainting a tired surface to a complete room makeover.

Sewing

If you require a garment altered, a pair of curtains shortened or a blind making I can help. I have made everything from bridesmaid dresses, Christening robes and hand embroidered veils to bean bags, curtains and blinds. I enjoy sewing as a hobby as much as calling it work.

Organising and Clearing

If you need a hand to unclutter a cupboard, dispose of things you no longer need or just a good tidy up. Help is at hand, I can support you to tackle the task. Take the things you no longer require to a charity shop or the recycling centre or help you advertise them online to sell them on.

Admin, online assistance.

Sometimes just having a hand to guide you through the online shopping site or filling a digital form out (such as the winter fuel payment) or manage your household utilities, slowly and calmly so you understand the process is all you require. But if you are just not into technology and the world around you seems to be leaving you in a spin I am sure I can lend a hand to get you heading in the right direction.

Pet & Animal Care

Providing a helping hand with your pets and animals for a break or day away is something we have always required. I would like to offer my services to help you to. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, chicken, ducks, hamsters, horses, cows, sheep and pigs. I grew up on a farm and had my own for 10 years, so I'm not adverse to mucking out on wet and cold winter mornings or walking the dog in the howling wind. I charge an minimum of £15 for a visit.

House Sitting

If you need your home & pets to cared for whilst you take a break or need to be away for a day or two, I'm happy to stay over and look after your fury friends. Prices start at £50 for a 24 hour overnight stay and pet care.
